PROTEST ART
PROTEST ART is the brainchild of Samuel Ashkenazy. His stage persona BIG MOUTH fronts the campaign. Protest Art is produced by master producer EQUIS who's savage beats back Big Mouth's ferocious vocals. Exploring a new genre, Protest Art mixes the sounds of psy-trance, dubstep, melodic dubstep, and grinding deathcore vocals in a way no one has ever heard before. With influence up and down the scale, Protest Art is an angry, insanely fun project of mine that I hope you enjoy.

It's the end of the world, and it's only just beginning! My new EP "When It All Comes Crashing Down" will be available on all major streaming platforms this winter, but for now, please enjoy our first three singles, and some live performances.

WHEN IT ALL COMES CRASHING DOWN
"In my darkest days, I began to hum these songs. I would pace around, alone, listening to what they say, watching what they do, swallow the lies they forced down my throat.

But this is my town. I run this place. I fill the vacuum. I am the loudest voice in the room, and you...

You're mine."

New Normal
New Normal satirizes the constant state of panic the American news media places us in. Very loud and very angry, it depicts the mental breakdown of someone succumbing to their most nihilistic thoughts.
Lyric Video Animated by Hudson Williams
ON TV
Similarly to New Normal, On TV dives deeper into the power of the news media and the ability to create and collect a prophet/profit. On TV delivers a catchy, eerie hook, which will get caught in your head for days. It might be a slow burn, but by the end, this beast of a song comes to a grinding, classic metal climax you just have to head-bang to.

Why Are We Like This
A mix of trance, melodic dubstep, and metal, Why Are We Like This defies genre. Containing one of our favorite instrumental breaks on the album, Why Are We Like This delivers a soaring finale, meant to make you cry and headbang and party like it's a rager.
